AI Consultants in Essex: Who They Are and How They Differ

Read this first

This is a list, not a ranking. Nobody is scored and nobody is called the best. We have not used any of these firms. What we say about each comes from its own website, which we read on 10 October 2026. Sites change, so check them yourself.

Basildon.co is published by Dean Keating, who is one of the seven. He is listed last, labelled, and is not based in Essex.

Based in Essex

Firms that state an Essex base, in alphabetical order.

AI Consultant Essex. aiconsultantessex.co.uk gives its location as Chelmsford, with an office at 5-6 Grays Yard, CM2 6QR. It lists four services: AI training for teams, chatbots, AI marketing automation and AI workflow automation. It says it works with businesses of 5 to 100 staff, from manufacturers to accountants and trades. It prints prices: group workshops from £500, one-to-one sessions from £200, custom chatbots from £1,500, marketing automation set-up from £1,500, and workflow automation with discovery from £800 and full builds from £1,000. You start with a free 20-minute consultation by form, phone or email.

AiFinity Labs. aifinitylabs.com says it is based in Essex and also works online anywhere. Its training runs online or in person across Essex, London and the South East. It offers workshops on more than 50 tools, business automation using tools such as Zapier, n8n, Make.com and Power Automate, and one-to-one AI sessions. It also lists a government-funded apprenticeship in AI and automation. Workshops are priced at £60 to £100 each. You can book a workshop or a free 30-minute discovery call.

All Sorted AI. allsortedai.com says it is based in Essex and works with small UK businesses across the East of England and Greater London. It is aimed at owner-managed firms with 1 to 15 staff. Its main offer is a paid AI audit at £997, which it describes as a structured interview followed by a written report and a follow-up consultation. It also offers help putting the recommendations in place. You can start with a free five-minute review, run by an AI agent it calls Clara.

Folk AI. folkai.co.uk gives its location as Southend-on-Sea, Essex. It lists workflow and system development, task automation, AI integration such as chatbots and assistants, and strategic advice on data and operations. It names Leigh-on-Sea, Westcliff-on-Sea, Rochford, Rayleigh and Basildon among the places it works. You start through the "Start a Conversation" link. We found no prices on the pages we read.

Nexplexity. nexplexity.co.uk says it is based in Essex and works with businesses in every town in the county, plus London. It also builds websites and software and does SEO, so AI is one line of its work. Its AI consultancy page lists audits, strategy and a roadmap, advice on tools and suppliers, and training. It says a 30-minute conversation is enough to know whether it can help, and that it gives a fixed price after that. It names Basildon among the towns it covers. We found no prices on the pages we read.

Working with Essex from elsewhere

AI Coach (Kasra Dash). bestaiconsultant.co.uk is the site of AI Coach, an AI consultancy founded by Kasra Dash. It has an Essex page that lists 28 town pages, Basildon among them. Its services are AI strategy, workflow automation, training and workshops, and custom AI tools. Training is by Zoom or Google Meet by default, with in-person half-day or full-day sessions available. It offers a free 30-minute call. The Essex page does not say where the business is based, and we found no prices on the pages we read.

Dean Keating (the publisher of this site). Dean Keating is an AI automation consultant based in Horndean, Hampshire, north of Portsmouth. He has no office in Essex and works with Essex businesses remotely. His website describes a done-for-you service: he builds AI agents, installs them in the tools a business already uses, trains the team and supports it. The jobs it lists include replying to new enquiries, following up leads, sending and chasing quotes, booking jobs into the diary and raising invoices. He starts with the single task that makes the most difference. The first call is free, and his website says you leave with a plan you can use with or without him. There is no published price list; the cost is given after that call. Call or WhatsApp 07418 627304. More on his profile.

How they differ

- Where they are. One firm gives a Chelmsford address and one gives Southend-on-Sea. Three say Essex without naming a town. AI Coach does not state a base. Dean Keating is in Hampshire.
- Training, advice or building. AiFinity Labs leans towards training and automation set-up. All Sorted AI and Nexplexity start with an audit or a conversation about what to do. AI Consultant Essex and Folk AI describe building chatbots and workflows. Dean Keating builds and installs, and does not run courses.
- Size of customer. All Sorted AI says 1 to 15 staff. AI Consultant Essex says 5 to 100. Most of the others say small and medium businesses.
- What you pay. The sites we read state a mix: published prices, a fixed price after a conversation, and a price given after a free call.

How to use this list

Pick two or three whose description fits the size of your business and the kind of help you want. Ask each one the same questions. Our checklist for choosing an AI consultant has six to start with. Ask what you will be left with at the end, who does the work, and what the first task will be.

What we could not check

We have not seen anyone's work or spoken to their clients, and we have not verified what any firm says about itself. Three firms say only that they are in Essex, so if a town matters to you, ask. If you run an AI consulting, training or automation firm based in Essex and you are not here, email dean@deankeating.com and we will read your website and add you on the same terms.

About this guide

Basildon.co is published by Dean Keating, who also runs the service described here. He is based in Horndean, Hampshire, not in Basildon, and works with Basildon and Essex businesses remotely. If you want someone in the room, say so on the first call and look at Basildon-based providers too. This guide recommends our own service, so compare it with other providers before you decide.
